Before joining the European Commission, I spent about 20 years working in academia, holding different positions at the Business School of the University of Westminster in London. Between 2009 and 2020 I was a Reader in the Economics of Education. Before that I was a Senior Lecturer in Economics and, prior to that, I was a Research Fellow in Education and the Labour Market.
